Most of the Division's modular layouts will be displaying at River City Roundup this weekend at the Qwest Center, Omaha. It's Omaha's biggest annual event, hosted in conjunction with the Douglas County Fair. The train show portion looks like it will become a regular part of RCR, something the Division is very happy about. "The show will take place September 28th through Sunday, October 1st at the Qwest Center Omaha in the Grand Ballroom A ..." The hours are 10am to 7pm Thursday and Friday, 9am to 7pm Saturday and Sunday. There are TONS of events - exhibitors, vendors, displays, cooking demonstrations, livestock competitions, foods, a carnival, music... Bring the kids and come and visit with us. The WHD would like to extend our thanks to the RCR volunteers for assisting our N-scale modular group in setting up Wednesday night. Your help was greatly appreciated.
